yeah, that is the BIG difference... the weight of that beast.
a lot of it comes down to the gearing, so you have the torque to pull out of the turn.
transitions from corner to corner are a ton different in a heavier car also. you have to be spot on with when you start to transfer weight to the next corner.

in your gearing, what is the FINAL DRIVE gear? (top slider in the gearing tab)

you dont need super high speed, or crazy angle to drift. anyone can do it man.
there's no denying the sound of a 20 valve corolla wound up real high, or a big block v8 fort that matter.
i brought out the Corolla for a sesh with Redhook one night, i believe the exact quote was,

downloaded and played the demo for 3 today. i forgot how fucking terrible i am at driving. didn't finish higher than 5th. still getting the game, but i'll need some time to get to you guys's level.

whoever is going to get this game, either soon or eventually.
I know that i will be playing a lot, as well as Roc already has been.

im sure there will be plenty of money floating around to help pay for cars and whatnot.

for anyone wanting to drift, ill be working on set ups right as soon as i can afford to build the cars, then the best set up will be installed on a car, and sent to anyone wanting to drift.



im excited for drag racing actually, as i have quite a bit of set up experience in real life.


we'll get it all sorted out, don't worry about having to race a million times to get enough money to do everything.

Drag racing with clutch is epic. You have to let off the trigger, hit LB, shift, and get back into the gas. Then high power with no TC makes it even more awesome.

Drag racing will prolly be my forte but I'm sure I can get something set up for drift between me and my 3 roommates.
