in regards to shaky cam.. i know you are using mid for a lot of them... u using LOW too like on those last 2 clips?? hard to tell but u are the only one using shake cam and making it work! might have to steel some of that for my next part if u are cool with that.. I feel like it is your patent editing move now.. hahahaha

took me forever to get the transitions all the same length and lined up with the music.


over the last few vids i've tried to avoid using 100% shaky cam like i did back with steez.this when i first really started editing clips. I know not everyone likes the "cloverfield" cam. on almost every clip now other than true static cams, ill use low shake. medium shake on some lines, and medium shake on some tripod cams to make it look like someones holding a camcorder. at least that's how i justify it in my head. anyways thats just my 2 cents behind cam shake =D

Ok, so I got all the clips from Golden Standard for their Ad for the Full and putting it together now... they got me some real good 50% footy for it, should be sweet. The AD will probably be about 40-60 secs long, no longer than 1 min though...I am gonna use "Golden" from Jurassic 5 which I think suits their skating as well...

Embers, have you had any luck with putting all the parts into 1 video yet? just wondering...

started my section last night. looking pretty good so far, but i think i'm getting just a little too much roll up/away, so i'll have to fix that. but the only thing i got going tonight is floor hockey and with 1 class friday i should/have to get it done before saturday cuz i got a whole weekend of hw ahead of me.

Busy ass weekend with a bunch of projects and the girl coming up this weekend. I'm going to try to start my section tomorrow. just got some more clips last night, i think i'm set with footage and having enough/the right kind. I'd plan for a release next week sometime. Just gotta get that ad from demz.

finished my render today. uploading later tonight. the only thing i'm not sure about is transitions: i only used 2 because i cut so much roll away i think having a lot would get a little squeezed as far as the timing. but i'll send it to everyone later.

Hook, just watched your part again... That LAZY 360 you had was so sick.. it is hard to get them around normal and that one just had so much style..

sent my intro clips to the TT gmail. trying a bunch of different sites but nothing's worked so far. kept getting timed out from a couple that looked promising, so that's frustrating. trying veoh now but if worst comes to worst i'll just go wegame and hope no one's lurking my shit

i would be willing to bet it's just my internet. it's been fucked up for the past couple weeks now and it would be a huge dick move for me to hook up right to the modem when i share wireless with 7 people. But even then i couldn't get youtube to upload my hype vid whenever that came out. so i'm just glad cuz i won't be the one to have to upload the full. and after spending two hours uploading to veoh, it got axed by some copyright claim.

finally got my shit up. sent it to everyone. quality sucks donkey balls but obviously the version i send roc will be up to our standard. i probably won't change anything with the actual clips unless you guys find something really wrong, but mostly i just want to know whether or not i should add some transitions, either just a few or redhook-style

just sent my sequence shots to the tt emailz. roc, let me know if that will work.

gonna check the vids you guys sent out on youtube and check back in a few.
