NHL 10 and EASHL

Started a team with one of my buddies last night.

first game = most epic game ever

1st period: we score early, i drive the slot, suck the D in, dish back to defender, he rips a slapper, i get the deflection goal...
They score near the end off of a nice little rebound

2nd period: no scoring... dude drills my buddy after the whistle, no call.. i come over make the call myself hand on his face, gloves drop.. jab.. jab.. power punch to the ice.. i sit the remainder of the period

3rd period: 8min left i bring the puck into the zone, find my buddy in the middle, he flips it over the goalie's shoulder, gordie howe hat trick for me.
They score with 33 seconds left 6v5 after some beautiful cycling, very patient.

OT: lots of shots, goalies stepped up
buddy gets a penalty with 1:40 to go.. we go on the kill.. play for shootout
computer gets to me in the neutral zone with 5 seconds left... kid over commits on me, i drop pass to the computer who rips a shot from the slot and buries it with.. get this .9 seconds left in OT

So much fun.. they have a tough guy player type now... so that's me then i bought the tough guy boost pack for 240msPts... gives you gold gloves, gold stick, gold skates and boosts all your stats (OVR: 81 starting out)

this is the time to play EASHL, before all the glitchers/cheesers get their hands on it. just truly good games. Mamba i sent you an invite to the team I should be on it tonight.

Embers, buy/rent/steal, i don't care, get it... we'll have some fun.

2 awesome games last night with frog...

Decided to play Goalie first game shut out for 2 periods then our defender scored on me... and not like one of those cheap ones where he has the puck and gets hit... i made a desparation save and then he got it and ripped a wrister into the back of the net... wtf we win 3-1

Next game i give up two in the first.. one was a legit rebound put back and the other was me being too high/drunk and not paying attn at the end of the period. But, i shut them out the next 2 periods, we score 1 in the second and 2 in the third and win 3-2

I think i've found my niche in online hockey.

ROC!!! I love the new NHL.. it is just hard to find time online when you guys are on at same time..

I played a TON of EASHL last year with a team and it was the best video game time I have ever had.... amazing games with yelling on the mics, awesome

If we have a set Night at a set time (9:30 maybe) and played EVERY week I could do that....

Maybe you should've put that $25 towards NHL instead of SBK 08... you'd prolly be less frustrated.
