Vacation Time... aka Roc's wild beach adventure

Thanks to mamba and emb for helping me stay awake tonight.. The hot wings helped postpone sleep but I feel bad for the ppl near me on the plane(s).lol

I'm out to GA for the week, ill be back next friday. I will be updating facebook and possibly a yahoo photos acct and emb should be able to update here with some pics.

I'm making sure I have limited access to skate related stuff, a vacay I've needed for awhile. Ill talk to everyone when I get back peace

Found out we do have internet in the condo. I refuse to worry about skate stuff

5 am at rochester international...no sleep


8 am in Atlanta, breakfast of champions, pizza, fried chicken, and tater tots.


Lil sister felt the ground would be more comfortable in Atlanta..


Crazy trees in Downtown Savannah, had like regular leave and some willow leaves, kinda weird


Down here, everywhere you go theres fresh fruit stands and they all sell these boiled peanuts, they're like normal peanuts, but hella soft. Pretty damn good too.

Mini saturday (I think?) Morning update

Emb get the latest couple of pics off my facebook and post them on fluckit for EB. They're filming the new hannah montana movie down the street from our condo, so I saw miley cyrus...lol never seen so many 10 year olds runnin around!

Goin in to work with pops to check out what he does and so he can show me off lol


Went and helped my dad's boss move some of his stupid money into his stupid house (read: 150yo pool table to a gated golf community). He asks me if I want a hockey stick and I say "no I don't really play much hockey" and he responds "yea well I'm 60 so me either. Its signed by all of the philadelphia flyers tho..."

If I had a way to bring it home, emb would be getting a roc present lol

So after "work" the boss man is taking us golfing at the gated, guarded country club mentioned above, omg so excited. Mom sis and gf are going to hang by the pool at the country club... Oh yea and play on the massive waterslide... Wtf

and yes, today is Saturday.

Wow, what a day.

Don't feel like turnin the computer on to post some pics. But I've got a lot.

I'm sure there's stuff ill forget, but this is the gist of the day.

Toured the chicken plant my dad works at, crazy shit, they cook and can/bag 50,000 lbs of chicken per day. Today they were producing 10oz cans of chicken and dumplings at 450 cans per min and bbq chicken wings at 8000 wings/min. Never seen so much chicken in my life.

Then we headed back to savannah quarters (gated community, million dollar plus houses) and helped my dads boss move some boxes in and then played golf at a course where membership is 17000... IF you own one of those million dollar houses. Boss paid for golf and bar tab after.

Came back to the island and went to get some grub, got to this tight little place that overlooked the ocean, 45 min wait, whatever, we watch the acoustic band and drink while we wait... Hour and a half later, I'm drunk, and we get a table, its 10pm by now. Waitress comes over and let's us know its a 45 min wait for the kitchen. We leave. My dad, who NEVER says anything goes up and bitches out the manager. Lol epic win. We found a much better place and got some steak and seafood there, whole process at restaurant number 2 took 45 min.

So then the girl and I went and took a walk on the beach, brought the cam and took some epic pics, gonna go back at 3am some night and take some more that I wanted to get but there was too many people around.

So now, I just took a shower and I'm sitting on the balcony enjoying a cigar. Its dark and super quiet but its still like 75, gorgeous night, lovin' it.

The plan for tomorrow is to meet up with my dads boss in hiltonhead, sc and he's takin us out on his fuckin 48ft yacht. Oh yea and he has mats to rip golf balls off the back of the boat. I'm sure ill get hella more pictures there tomorrow.

me=jealous. spent my saturday working my ass off all morning, hauling 30 foot pipe all around a farm. and then i read this. booooooo. haha

Ok big update this morning, 100% more pictures!

Lets go back to saturday. My dad's house in GA, the company he worked for hooked this crib up, but its in the middle of nowhere and the driveway is like a 300 yd dirt road, lol. But he has a nice little bass pond he can do all his fishing in...









Later sat night, my girl wanted to go walk on the beach under the moon (awwwww, roc's soooo romantic)...so i brought the camera and the tripod, and did what i do: take pictures of EVERYTHING









Yesterday we went out of my dad's boss' boat. It was a 43' boat, with TWO 465hp diesel motors. when we anchored, he told me i was allowed to jump off the roof into the ocean...hahah so much fun, my sister didn't snap any pics of that tho. Then his boss said a statement i think he regretted, "Matt, You won't jump off the roof and moon us on the way down" well i did, and he didn't call me out about anything after that. lmao
